Pierce Triple Date/Moonphase Watch
Pierce triple date moonphase calendar wristwatch from the mid fifties. Triple date watches are lovely complication watches. The date is marked by the numerals in the outer chapter and is indicated buy the back crescent tipped hand. The day and month windows are at the upper centre of the dial and the full moonphase indication is at the lower centre. The moonphase is in a gold color which matches the hands and applied batons and numerals on the dial. Lovely slim and slight built case. The calendar functions are altered by hidden pushers in the side of the case. A sharp object such as a pin is needed to adjust. 17 jeweled manual winding movement. Beautiful, practical and functional watch.
Goering Single Button Chronometer Sterling Silver
This piece was made sometime between WWI and WWII. It is a single button chronometer which means that all functions, Start/Stop/Reset, are performed by one push button in the crown.
Baume&Mercier Triple Date w/ Moonphase 18K
Vintage Baume and Mercier Triple Date and Chronograph Circa 1959. Large 36mm signed Baume&Mercier 18K (0.750) case with a snap-back. Beautiful dial with moon phase at 6 o'clock, running seconds at 9 o'clock, minute counter at 3 o'clock, day and month windows at 12, and date in outer track. Landeron 186 movement is running and functioning well. Case stamped Baume & Mercier Geneve 3941. Movement marked Baume & Mercier Geneve 17 Jewels.
This watch is an excellent example of the craftmanship done by Baume&Mercier. The watch has been professionally overhauled, with the dial resilvered. All of the functions operate correctly.
